Tess 512
Horizontal Festoon Blind System
The Tess 512 has been developed to meet the requirement for a very large horizontally drawn blind where the only supports available are at each end of an opening. It is therefore ideally suited to rectangular atria and similar internal openings in commercial buildings.
The blind is made in individual panes each one suspended between a pair of transverse support bars. The first fabric panel is attached to a lead hem bar which is connected by a pair of traction cables which are arranged to deploy and retract the blind using motorized cable drums mounted in a steel frame.
The support bars hang from stainless steel cables which span the opening between the cable roller frame on one side and steel anchors on the opposite side. When deployed, the pitch of the bars is controlled by a tape to produce the desired festoon pattern. Maximum fabric coverage area is 1100 sq. ft.
