Exterior Automated Solar Shading System

The Tess 421 is a wire guided tension shading system designed for exterior applications on triangular shaped windows and sky lights. The system has a single fabric roller tension mechanism and is incorporating the motor and tension mechanism that is enclosed in an extruded aluminum box. The system is supplied with universal mounting brackets suitable for top or back fixing. The system is comprised of a main assembly and pulley system that are each mounted independently onto the structure. A relieving roller is required to provide intermediate support on fabric projections in excess of 120”. The Tess 401 has a maximum fabric coverage area of 100 sq. ft. The system must have 1 (90º) right angle and recommended to project horizontally. Minimum hembar length is 12”.

Hardware is available in two standard colors: White and Bronze. Operation is by means of a tubular motor. A variety of fabric materials are available to address the shading requirements from sun filtering screens to complete blackout fabrics.
