Interior Automated Solar Shading System

The Tess 100 is a versatile cassette-type, pre-tensioned shading system designed for interior applications on skylights and windows. Constructed of aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, brass and nylon; the Tess 100 provides reliable service in tough environments. Under motor power, the cable-pulley system draws fabric off of the roller tube so that the fabric can project horizontally, vertically and in limited applications sideways. The system is comprised of a main assembly and pulley system that are each mounted independently onto the structure of a building. A relieving roller is required to provide intermediate support on fabric projections in excess of 120 inches. provides excellent heat dissipation and cooling.

Hardware is available in two standard colors: White and Bronze. Custom colors are also available. Operation is by means of a tubular motor. A variety of fabric materials are available to address the shading spectrum between sun-filtering screens to complete blackout fabrics.
